Now Hiring – Programming & Purchasing Coordinator (Custom Windows & Doors)
Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Range: $30–$40/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
A well-established custom manufacturer of high-end architectural windows and doors is seeking a Programming & Purchasing Coordinator to support production through accurate parametric modeling and purchasing coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical mindset and light programming skills who enjoys working in a design-focused and detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Use in-house C# software to develop and update parametric models for doors and windows
Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and perform material takeoffs
Place purchase orders for parts and materials based on takeoffs
Review CAD drawings and technical specifications to inform programming logic
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve models and part definitions as needed
Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic programming concepts, ideally in C#, and experience using Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Code
Understanding of relational databases and ability to write simple SQL statements
Detail-oriented with strong data entry and accuracy skills
Basic math and geometry knowledge
Interest in learning and supporting a collaborative technical team
Experience in the windows and doors industry is a plus but not required
