In-Person ASL Interpreter – Full-Time (Clinton, NC)

Location: Clinton, NC (On-site at local school)

2025–2026 School Year Full-Time Opportunity (35 hours per week)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Active ASL interpreter license required – North Carolina required

Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)

Minimum EIPA score of 3.0

Full time availability for the full 2025–2026 school year and availability to work onsite in Sampson County, NC

At least 2 years of experience in a school-based setting

1+ year of experience providing online services preferred

Strong understanding of instructional methodologies for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students

Willingness to participate in IEP and IFSP development as needed

Ability to assist with setting up necessary equipment and materials for accessible education

Comfortable working with amplification devices and assistive tech tools

Able to maintain strong, professional relationships with students, families, and school teams

A quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet for remote collaboration (if needed)
