Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Applications Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating software solutions across a variety of platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems and optimizing overall performance. This role requires a blend of programming expertise, system design, and hands-on experience in connecting disparate systems.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and scripts.

Analyze and understand existing systems, APIs, and data workflows to design effective integration solutions.

Implement and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.

Develop and implement system integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and other industry-standard protocols.

Develop new applications in the areas of the Microsoft Power Platform technology stack including Power BI and Power Automate.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and provide technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and system interactions.

Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system integrations.

Monitor and optimize the performance of integrated systems and applications.

Ensure compliance with best practices in security, scalability, and performance.

Leverage Microsoft DevOps for documentation, project planning, development, testing, and deployment.

Work with other IT team members to ensure integration of systems and smooth operations.

Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Liaise with vendors and service providers for solution development, project management, and issue resolution.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Experience designing, developing, and customizing solutions – 10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform technology stack preferred

Power BI: Skilled in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, data visualization, and advanced analytics – 5 years

Power Apps: Experience in developing apps, customizing user interfaces, and implementing business logic – 4 years

Power Automate: Proficient creating automated workflows, integrating with other systems, and optimizing processes – 4 years

Microsoft Dataverse: Advanced understanding of data modeling and data integration and security – 4 years

Integration: Ability to integrate Power Platform tools with each other and with external systems to create comprehensive solutions.

Customization: Experience in customizing solutions to meet specific business needs and requirements.

Optimization: Ability to optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and security.

Plug-ins: Experience in developing and deploying custom plug-ins to extend the functionality of Power Platform solutions.

PowerQuery: Experience in using PowerQuery for data transformation and integration.

REST API: Proficiency in developing and integrating REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability between Power Platform solutions and external systems.

JavaScript: Experience in using JavaScript for client-side scripting, enhancing interactivity and functionality within Power Platform solutions

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of are generally light and primarily aligned with office-based work unless visiting operational facilities/sites.

Specific requirements include:

Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or other digital devices.

Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.

Occasional walking during on-site visits to different areas within the organization.

Active listening and clear speech are essential for effectively supporting and coaching leaders and employees.

Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds

Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment as required

Availability for on-call support and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or troubleshooting.
