Position Summary:
The Hotel Operations Manager – F&B Focus is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet services. This role ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team performance, while maintaining compliance with brand standards, local health regulations, and financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Food & Beverage Operations
Lead all aspects of the F&B department, including restaurant, bar, catering, and in-room dining.
Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness in all outlets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for food, beverages, and supplies.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to design and implement seasonal menus and specials.
Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores specific to F&B.
Including handles weekly scheduling for team members. Team Management
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise F&B staff including servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff.
Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to team members.
Foster a positive and professional work environment focused on teamwork and guest service.Financial & Administrative Duties
Prepare and manage department budgets, forecasts, and labor schedules.
Monitor daily sales reports and take action to improve profitability.
Ensure proper cash handling, inventory controls, and POS accuracy.
Including scheduling Operational Support
Assist in other hotel operational areas as needed (front desk, housekeeping,engineer, events).
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth overall hotel operations.
Respond promptly to guest issues or complaints related to F&B and follow through to resolution.Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel food & beverage management or restaurant operations.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Knowledge of F&B best practices, including cost control and inventory.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and POS systems preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
