IOP Counselor - LCSW or LPC (Monday - Friday) - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Two shift options:

8am - 5pm

12:30pm - 9:30pm

Valley Hope is expanding our services to the Columbia area. We're opening a new outpatient treatment facility in Columbia and are in search of experienced clinicians to lay the ground work for our team. The successful candidate will be licensed as an LCSW or LPC in Missouri.

Initial training will occur at our Boonville facility for a minimum of 3 weeks. Thereafter, this position will work onsite at the Columbia facility and facilitate in-person and virtual individual and group sessions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required: minimum amounts of education or experience required to qualify for the job.

Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, education or social work.

License or credential to function as an alcohol and drug treatment counselor in the state in which the Counselor is working. The successful candidate will be licensed as an LCSW or LPC in Missouri.

CPR/First Aid Certification

One (1) year of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience.

Preferred: desired qualifications of a candidate for the job

Three (3) plus years of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience.

Previous experience facilitating hybrid group sessions

COMPENSATION:

Starting annual salary ranges from $70,000 - $83,000 (based on experience and education)

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid out over 2 years)

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides individual and group counseling, therapeutic intervention, and educational lectures to patients and family members.

Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans.

Performs face to face assessments.

Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team to include participating in weekly staff meetings, any staff development, and training as required.

Develops patient progress reports and establishes follow-up care for patients and their families as needed.

Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support patients in their recovery.

Collects and reviews referral information upon assignment of patients and consults with others as needed to support coordination of services.

Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely;

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Outpatient treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility.
