We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging documentation to support business processes and technical operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex information into user-friendly materials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and technical guides.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze technical information for documentation purposes.

• Utilize tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and Illustrator to create visually appealing and effective materials.

• Apply AP Style guidelines to ensure consistent and precise written communication.

• Conduct audits and reviews of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement.

• Perform A/B testing on documentation formats to optimize user understanding and engagement.

• Work within Agile Scrum teams to align documentation with project milestones and deliverables.

• Analyze complex problems and break them down into manageable components for clear communication.

• Ensure all documentation meets high standards of accuracy, clarity, and detail.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, business process documentation, or a related field.

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Creative Cloud, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and Illustrator.

• Strong understanding of AP Style and ability to apply it effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and create clear, structured documentation.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and adapting to iterative processes.

• Familiarity with auditing and A/B testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of computer hardware and technical concepts relevant to the communications industry.
