Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic planning, while driving efficiency and accuracy across all financial activities. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Lead comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes to support the organization’s strategic goals.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, payroll, and fixed assets.

• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and protect company assets.

• Coordinate and manage annual audits with external auditors, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, optimize liquidity, and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.

• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and policies to enhance operational efficiency.

• Apply expertise in hotel, retail, and office accounting to align financial practices with industry-specific needs.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA designation preferred.

• At least 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting and knowledge of accounting standards.

• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop staff.

• High integrity and dedication to ethical financial practices.
