Job Description
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for the operation of HAAS CNC Centers and Bar Feed lathes. Your role will involve manufacturing various metal components such as brackets, handles, and valves. You will manually set up and adjust feeders and other tooling equipment, perform basic setup codes, and inspect products using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Additionally, you will enter findings into the company database and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
Operate HAAS CNC Centers and Bar Feed lathes.
Manufacture metal components including brackets, handles, and valves.
Manually set up and adjust feeders and other tooling equipment.
Perform basic setup codes.
Inspect products with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Enter inspection findings into the company database.
Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machine operation and setup.
Experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
Ability to read and use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Experience with manual CNC setup and machining.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-year CNC degree or 2 years of experience in CNC operation and manual setup.
Experience with Swiss CNC Machines is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment involves operating advanced CNC machinery in a setting that requires lifting up to 50 lbs. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
