Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Machine Operators to join our team. You will be responsible for operating digital controlled machinery, managing production processes, and ensuring high-quality output in line with customer specifications. This role is crucial to our expansion efforts, and we are hiring for both 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

Operate digital controlled machinery and auxiliary equipment to produce quality products.

Load raw material, feed wire through machines, and remove finished products.

Perform machinery changeovers and quality welds using appropriate equipment.

Conduct preventative maintenance on production and support equipment.

Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Understand product quality, delivery, and scrap measurements.

Adhere to safety procedures and policies, wearing assigned PPE.

Keep work areas clean and organized for subsequent shifts.

Participate in training, meetings, and committees as required.

Operate forklifts and maintain a valid forklift license.

Troubleshoot problems and adjust equipment for optimal operation.Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude and experience in an industrial facility.

Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.

Experience with machine operation and production processes.

Familiarity with safety protocols such as lockout/tagout.

Ability to perform simple calculations and use measurement tools like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical school education is a plus.

Willingness to learn and apply new skills.

Capability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is a smaller, organized shop with about 12-15 employees on the 1st shift and 3-4 on the 2nd shift, including maintenance. It is a typical manufacturing environment where safety toed shoes and ear protection are required. We prioritize maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.
