Asset Data Specialist Location: Nye, MT (1-2 Days per week) & Columbus, MT (1-2 Days per week) Schedule: 5x2, 4x3 - 9-hour days Job Responsibilities and Duties: This role is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and management of master data to support Asset Management and Planned Maintenance activities for the company by providing technical system expertise, data governance, and data oversight as it relates to the life cycle of assets across the enterprise.
This role will support control systems, policies, and strategies for the management of the assets and equipment while optimizing interfaces with other departmental systems and functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in developing and facilitating long term maintenance and asset management strategy to ensure proper governance and quality data functions Standardize inputs of data for proper reporting, KPI's and governance over data entry and updates Develop and adhere to business processes, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for the Asset Management/JDE Function Work closely with site maintenance personnel to maintain equipment data quality and integrity Facilitate annual Asset Management assessments and provide analytic reports Coordinate the life cycle of parts in order to procure equipment/parts that will become obsolete Work with inventory to analyze stock for criticality, kitting opportunities, min/max reviews Ensure adherence to ISO-55000 standards for consumables Assist with developing planning and scheduling processes, verify that work is done through work orders Ensure planned shutdown activities follow pre-set targets in accordance with critical path analysis Create cross-functional process maps, documentation, and action plans Conduct regular meetings and facilitate internal workshops as well as create and deliver training materials Revise policies, procedures and strategies regularly Participate in RCM reviews for equipment Qualifications and Skills: Required: Project management experience as it relates to asset construction and operational readiness Ability to work with complex data sets and determine trends and opportunities for improvement Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders Ability to proactively drive change in support of standardization of data and processes Ability to plan and organize as well as communicate effectively across functional disciplines Ability to drive and manage changes to systems and processes Ability to balance day-to-day job duties while meeting deadlines on assigned projects Problem solving and analyzing data, experience with relational databases Working knowledge of other disciplines - Procurement, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Maintenance and Reliability Certification a plus Microsoft Power BI or other data dash-boarding software Report Writing Experience in Mining Industry or construction asset based companies Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise 9.2 Education and Experience: BA or BS Degree or minimum of 5 years of experience in mining or other asset-intensive industry Minimum 4 years of experience with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) program Minimum 2 years of experience with master data management, focus on asset/equipment, inventory, and work management data set up Experience in computerized maintenance management systems and inventory management systems Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
