Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, build strong vendor relationships, and ensure top-tier customer service. This role plays a vital part in optimizing transportation logistics and maintaining smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipping logistics
Negotiate and secure transportation rates with vendors and carriers
Ensure alignment across warehousing, transportation, and customer service functions
Track shipments, process documentation, and make special shipping arrangements as needed
Support customer inquiries via phone and email; resolve issues promptly and professionally
Continually review freight costs, delivery performance, and operational efficiency
Assist with planning, scheduling, and verifying shipping and receiving documentation
Maintain safety and compliance standards across all operations
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience in customer service and time management
Working knowledge of supply chain processes
Preferred:
Background in logistics, transportation, or manufacturing
1–3 years in customer-facing or coordination roles
