Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Node.js Developer Level III to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you'll contribute to the development of scalable, cloud-based web applications and play a key part in integrating third-party devices into enterprise systems. This position is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions while collaborating with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop server-side code to enable the integration of third-party devices into the enterprise ecosystem.
• Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable, resilient, and robust cloud-based services.
• Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes for multiple microservices within the platform.
• Partner with QA teams to design and execute automated application-level testing suites.
• Employ industry-standard best practices to address complex business challenges through software solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that align with existing systems.
• Present and justify architectural designs and technical decisions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Build prototypes rapidly to demonstrate architectural concepts and technical feasibility.
• Travel occasionally to collaborate with teams based at the company headquarters.• 6-8 years of programming experience in mainstream programming languages, demonstrating attention to detail.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Proven ability to design cloud-based web services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Experience in managing large-scale production deployments, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in designing software architectures for high-volume applications.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining APIs for web services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong foundation in software design, algorithms, and debugging techniques.
