This CMM Programmer position is ideal for someone experienced in Zeiss Calypsoor someone ready to pivot from PCDMIS into Zeiss with strong mentorship. Working in an environment that supports critical industries such as aerospace and medical device manufacturing, youll contribute directly to tooling and post-machining inspections that demand high accuracy and a deep understanding of GD&T. This is a critical support role, filling a recent vacancy and helping ensure production continuity.What Youll Do:

Program and validate CMM routines using Zeiss Calypso software (or PCDMIS with intent to train in Calypso)

Conduct detailed inspections on forged and machined components, including tooling and die blocks

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret complex GD&T requirements and theoretical data points

Support in-process and post-process inspections across 30+ CMMs, including critical aerospace lines

Participate in first-level troubleshooting and triage for CMM equipment and measurement anomalies

Serve as a key contributor to a lean and high-performing metrology teamWhat Youll Need:

2+ years of experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso or PCDMIS (with a willingness to cross-train)

Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Strong grasp of inspection processes in aerospace, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation

Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic production settingWhats Preferred:

Experience inspecting forged components or die tooling

Familiarity with theoretical and non-standard datums and measurement setups

Exposure to both in-process and final inspection environments

Prior cross-functional involvement with CNC or quality engineering teamsRoles That Should Apply:
