We’re looking for a Technical Systems Engineer to join our DevOps team. Here's What Your Day to Day Might Include

Collaborating with a cross-functional DevOps team to build and maintain Kubernetes environments across multiple platforms.

Configuring and managing Kubernetes network policies within clusters.

Ensuring system compliance through regular patching, SSP maintenance, and documentation aligned with security standards.

Supporting system sustainment in accordance with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies.

Using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira) for collaboration and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: TS/SCI with FSP

Citizenship: US Citizen

Proven experience with Linux CLI in an operational setting.

Hands-on expertise building out Kubernetes infrastructure and managing internal networking.

Experience with system patching, SSP management, and navigating complex security compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with enterprise security policies and procedures (STE/STN).

Comfort using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for technical collaboration.Education:

A minimum of 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.

A bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

In lieu of a degree, an additional 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience may be substituted.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible.

Working knowledge of Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes concepts.

Familiarity with observability tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana dashboards.

Security+ (CWIP) or equivalent certification preferred.Work Schedule

Telework: Up to 2 days per week

Compensation Range: $182,000.00 - $201,000.00
