Job Description
Records and maintains control of all inventory items produced and purchased.
Responsible for determining priorities, effectively schedule work, function in an organized manner that addresses critical issues and are supported by an effective plan for the daily production scheduling to meet customer demand.
Monitors finished inventory to ensure that they comply with purchase order and specifications.
Monitors delivery dates and commitments. Expedite rush or late deliveries from foundries and suppliers.
Responsible for back-up to DDL requirements related to shipping functions
Participate in preventive actions where appropriate. Conduct corrective actions and perform problem solving analysis and reporting as required
Participate as requested for independent objective auditing activity and support company continual improvement activities
Create a culture of open communication, trust, continuous improvement and performance with internal and external customers
Prefer minimum 2-year degree in Purchasing/Logistics or equivalent work experience
Prefer strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Ability to plan – determine priorities and effectively schedule work and to function in an organized manner that addresses critical issues and are supported by an effective plan
Ability to delegate – effectively use subordinate’s skills; clearly define and follow-up on delegated responsibilities
Ability to lead – bring out cooperation, initiative and performance from subordinates and associates
Prefer strong problem-solving skills
Computer skills or ability to learn
Ability to read, understand and write in English
Light to moderate physical effort required in performing normal job duties, with part-time normal and part-time concentrated attention and coordination required for normal job duties.
Able to accommodate occasional travel.
