Account Manager, Food Ingredients

Job Description

Our client is an established and respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a sales professional, based in the Columbus Ohio area, to sell functional ingredients and manage sales to food and beverage manufacturers throughout a specific geographical territory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree desired but not required

• A degree in Chemistry or Food Science is desired

• 2 years minimum prior experience in a B2B sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is desired

• Prior experience working with food and/or food ingredients is desired

• Efficient in Salesforce.com.

• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.

• Excellent negotiation skills

• A confident and hard-working attitude.

• Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Ability and willingness to travel upwards of 25% of the time (Trade shows, company, and potential customer meetings, etc.).

• A valid passport for travel into Canada

• Ability to speak French is desired

This job allows you to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. You would go into the office in Dublin on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some overnight travel is required.
