Entry level Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Also ensure they meet established company standards by conducting visual and measurement tests, identifying defects, and documenting findings to maintain quality control throughout production, often using precision measuring tools and following established blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Inspecting products:

1. Visually examinations, in-process inspection of production, and finished products for defects, inconsistencies, and adherence to quality standards.

Measurement and testing:

2. Use precision measuring tools like calipers, tape measurers to verify product dimensions and specifications.

Data recording:

3. Document inspection findings, including detailed reports on defects, non-conforming items, and corrective actions taken.

Quality control checks:

4. Monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend adjustments to maintain standards.

Blueprint interpretation:

5. Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products are manufactured correctly.

Qualifications:

Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy

SALARY:

ENTRY LEVEL: $12.00 - $14.00 hr.

1-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE $14.50 $16.00 hr.

3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE TBD

REQUIREMENTS:

Legally authorized to work in the U.S

Bilingual English and Spanish (preferable)
