Technical Software Project Manager consultant

48 hour window to fill only

St Louis Missouri 3-4 days in office, 1 day remote

· Hours: 8-5pm, Monday-Friday

· Rate: $45-50 / hr

· Minimum of three (3) years IT project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheets, excel, Jira, ITSM). Familiarity with software development processes and system architecture. Oracle Database and architecture knowledge is preferred. Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the implementation of software projects for, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. The TPM will leverage a robust technical background in databases, cloud technologies, system architecture, infrastructure, networking, and Active Directory (AD) to drive projects forward, manage risks, and maintain project timelines and dependencies.

Creates and maintains project documentation, reporting daily on status and progress. • Anticipates and mitigates risks, resolves issues proactively, and manages migration plans.

Manages Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and resources, providing technical guidance and safeguards for software initiatives. • Maintains clear customer-facing documentation, defining roles and responsibilities. • Updates and organizes project documents, including RACI, RAID, and archives.

Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating and maintaining project documentation, including RACI, RAID, and status reports. Understanding of budget management and cost control principles.

Education Experience Degree: B.A./B.S. in Comp. Science. MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. is desirable Years:Company Description
