Tool and Die Technician

Job Description

Adhere to all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, policies, and procedures.

Participate in the continuous improvement process.

Uses tools and dies to build fixtures; create dies as required to construct new fixtures.

Repair dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassemble molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassemble when repaired.

Develop content in concurrence with engineering team members for standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documents.

Train, coach, and support level 1 and level 2 tool makers on standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Perform and audit effective preventive maintenance schedule on tools and dies.

Design progressive dies and die components.
