Job Description

Acloche has immediate openings for a Machine Operator in West Jefferson!

Heavy Pipe Threader is responsible for placing metal pipes with use of machinery where it will Thread pipes, varying in in size from 2 1/2 inches or more in diameter.

Primary duties of the Heavy Threader include:

• Manually handle and re-position pipes as needed between machines and other materials.

• Maintain records, take inventory and prepare reports as required.

• Perform Q.A. inspections, measure parts and look up parts drawings.

• Must be able to maintain production standards on machines.

• Read and comprehend verbal instructions in English to understand equipment manuals

• Flexible to complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements of the Heavy Threader include:

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs while standing, bending, walking, banding and working on equipment.

• Ability to perform basic setups and minor adjustments on machines.

• Math skills required - add, subtract, multiply, divide, and ability read a tape measure.

Hours: 6am-230pm, Mon-Fri w/ overtime till 4:30pm and Saturdays if needed.

Pay rate: $20
