CNC Machinist

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist in Wixom, MI. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on CNC milling and/or lathe experience who can set up, operate, and inspect precision parts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) to produce precision metal components

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators) to verify part conformance

Perform machine offsets and minor program edits as needed

Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and safety

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Requirements:

2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill)

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints

Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection processes

Familiar with G-code and basic program adjustments

High school diploma or GED required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Experience with Haas, Fanuc, or Mazak controls is a plus
