Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to work with a great team in the Westlake, Ohio area on 1st shift! This is a great environment with a family type culture searching for the right person to join their team aligning with company values and expanding vision.

Candidates should be able to:

Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.

Stage materials for production and ensure proper inventory levels.

Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts and hand trucks.

Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as necessary.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely material handling and fulfilling production requirements.

Have the ability to handle data entry needed and collaborate with customers as needed providing top customer service

Requirements

Proven experience in material handling or a similar role is a plus.

Ability to handle physical labor tasks as needed

Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and best practices.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
