Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Ultrasonographer skilled in performing high-quality cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound exams. Your imaging expertise will play a critical role in supporting accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care. This position offers daytime hours with on-call duties requiring a 30-minute response time.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform vascular and/or cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and care
Manage patient imaging data through hospital and cardiovascular information systems
Operate diagnostic ultrasound and patient monitoring equipment safely and efficiently
Collaborate closely with physicians to review results and assist in care planning
Conduct specialty studies including Stress Echo, TEE, TCI, pacemaker evaluations, and pediatric imaging
Identify and promptly escalate urgent findings to the appropriate specialists
Stay current with contrast protocol and image enhancement techniques
Maintain adherence to safety protocols and high diagnostic standards
Qualifications
RDMS, RDCS, or RVT certification required
Active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (or equivalent)
Clinical experience in ultrasound imaging (vascular and/or cardiology)
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes
Preferred Experience
Background in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
Experience in cardiac catheterization labs and emergency medicine settings
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $61,000 – $80,000/year (quoted hourly, based on experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and be proficient in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. This role requires a keen understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate evaluations and patient care. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and assist in determining the appropriate course of action.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed and results obtained.
Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Educate patients about the ultrasound process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Monitor vital signs during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Experience
Proven experience in sonography or related field is preferred.
Knowledge of radiology practices, telemetry, and cardiac catheterization is advantageous.
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and diagnostic evaluation techniques is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
