Project Manager- Data Center Construction

A nationally recognized design-build contractor is seeking a Project Manager – Mission Critical Construction to lead data center projects across Ohio.

This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in mission-critical environments, particularly data centers.

The position offers flexibility to be based in-office or in a travel capacity, depending on project needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Oversee all phases of data center construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Team Coordination: Manage internal teams and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and accountability.Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations exceeded.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.Technical Oversight: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mission-critical construction.

QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 5 years in construction project management, with at least 3 years focused on data center or mission-critical facilities.Technical Expertise: Proficient in managing complex MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Certifications: PMP or LEED accreditation is a plus.Software Proficiency: Experienced in using construction management platforms and BIM tools.
