Linux System Administrator

Senior Linux Systems Administrator Secret Cleared Navy Contract Bethesda, MD We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Systems Administrator to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for computer systems, hardware, and software issues.

Qualifications: • Must have an up-to-date CompTIA Security+ Certification • Proficient with different types of Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

(10 years+) • Experienced with current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10 and 11, Server 2016, 2019, and 2022) • Experience administrating Windows and Linux systems in the same environment.

• Excellent team player while also able to work independently • Work through problem-solving independently and in a team environment • Professional with excellent communication skills • Knowledge and understanding of IT hardware and network terminology and concepts • Knowledge of and skill in troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems.

• Provide technical support for incoming customer concerns and issues related to systems, software, and hardware • Respond to customer queries in person, by phone, or via remote support • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to helpdesk requests • Maintain daily performance of computer systems • Diagnose and resolve problems • Work with vendor support related to hardware and software issues
