Their capabilities include market and consumer research; full concept development; design and engineering capabilities; testing, validation, and world-class manufacturing.

ResponsibilitiesAct as a champion/decision maker for quality-related issues within the scope of responsibilityMaintain a thorough understanding of customer product and engineering specificationsLead all programs launch activities from the quality perspectiveCoordinate tasks/responsibilities to production personnel regarding quality issuesContribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activitiesWork with personnel on APQP and cross-functional teams on the development of new and existing components to meet critical customer deadlines.

Skills/ExperiencePost-secondary graduate with a degree/diploma in Quality Engineering and/or a technical degree or equivalent work-related experience in the Quality field+5 years in an automotive manufacturing environment with knowledge in welding and assembly processesComputer and CAD proficiency is requiredPrior experience implementing TS-16949 procedures, APQP, PPAP submissions, GD&T, Flow Diagrams, FMEA’s, Control Plans, Statistics, Fixture Development, and independent work with tooling subcontractorsDemonstrated ability to use basic measurement tools (height gauge, vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, indicator, etc.)
