The Sustaining Engineering role provides expertise in product support and sustaining engineering.

This role will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous performance, reliability, and compliance of Tejas products with customer and industry standards.

The Sustaining Engineering role will require proficiency with SolidWorks & EPDM to manage revision control system and product line management activities while adhering to the quality management system requirements as it relate to product portfolio management.

This position carries out responsibilities in accordance with Tejas Research & Engineering policies and applicable laws, actively participate in the company’s Safety, Quality and Confidentiality policies, and provides technical support to Sales, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.

Sustaining Engineering ResponsibilitiesSupports product lifecycle, maintain product portfolio API validation integrity, generate and maintain a product validation matrix Work with new product development and manufacturing teams to incorporate updates into the product lineImplement product improvements, modifications, and upgrades based on field feedback, performance data, and evolving industry requirements.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure smooth product transitions and continuous support Plan and oversee the testing of products to ensure they meet performance and regulatory standards, aid testing team with validation documentation ensuring the appropriate test procedures are followed and appropriate technical data is captured.Provide ongoing technical support to internal teams and customers, assisting in troubleshooting complex product issues in the field.Perform root cause analysis for product failures and recommend effective corrective actionsProvide accurate product data, and timelines to assist in closing deals RequirementsSustaining Engineering experience with Oilfield equipment minimum 5 yearsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringHigh Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Power Point (calculations, analysis tool)Strong knowledge of oil and gas product design, engineering standards, and industry regulationsStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
