The Manager of Shared Dual Credit supports the Executive Director of Shared Dual Credit by managing communication and coordination with school districts and campuses across Polk County and varied service areas. This role represents Lamar Institute of Technolgy (LIT) and Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSPCA) and serves as a liaison for assigned partners, facilitating course scheduling, instructor assignments, enrollment processes, and grade reporting. The manager ensures alignment of dual credit initiatives through consistent engagement with school personnel and internal departments. Frequent regional travel is required to attend meetings, conduct site visits, and represent the Shared Dual Credit office at outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required

Resident of Polk County

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Advanced knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Knowledge of office administrative procedures, desktop and laptop computers, copiers, scanners, and normal office equipment

Possess excellent time management skills

Valid Texas Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

K-12 and/or community college, lower division, or two-year college faculty or staff experience are strongly preferred

It is highly preferred that this individual has community relations experience.

SALARY :

Support the Executive Director of Shared Dual Credit in managing communication with multiple school districts and campuses across the region.Essential Job Functions:

Serve as a point of contact for assigned ISD and dual credit partners within the Polk County and surrounding dual credit areas.Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate with partner institutions regarding course scheduling, instructor assignments, and section creation each semester.Essential Job Functions:

Facilitate roster verification processes and ensure the timely submission of student enrollment data and grade reports.Essential Job Functions:

Communicate any changes to Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, course availability, or credentialing requirements to dual credit partners.Essential Job Functions:

Assist with the planning and execution of dual credit orientations, advising sessions, and campus visits for students and staff.Essential Job Functions:

Track and report partner feedback, challenges, and suggestions to inform continuous improvement of dual credit services.Essential Job Functions:

Maintain accurate records of all correspondence, requests, and outcomes with assigned partners to ensure accountability and transparency.Essential Job Functions:

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., IHE DC Directors, Admissions, Registrar, Instructional Deans) to resolve issues related to enrollment, grading, and instruction.Essential Job Functions:

Represent the Shared Dual Credit office at regional meetings, events, and outreach efforts as assigned.Travel throughout Polk County and other dual credit areas.Essential Job Functions:
