Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Mobile Application Developer (Android & iOS) opening for our client in Middletown, NJ.

Location: Middletown, NJ

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Skills:

Proficient in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development

Experience with Android development using Java and Kotlin is highly desirable

Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and RESTful APIs

Familiarity with JDT tools and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)

Knowledge of Apple’s and Google’s design principles and interface guidelines

Proficiency with version control tools such as Git

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development

Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

Experience working in Agile development environments

Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
