Electrical Design Engineer - Industrial Controls

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering

3+ yearsâ experience design of industrial control panels/ power supplies

ACAD for schematics layouts Wire Cable

SolidWorks for Sheet Metal

Some Schematic and Assembly documentation

UL 508A knowledge, NEC & IEC Codes Compliance

Hands on cradle to grave experience

Direct customer interaction experience

Prior experience developing Control Panel Layouts & BOMs is preferred

Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints & schematics.

Experienced creating, updating, and making improvements to industrial drafts is preferred. Responsibilities:

Work from customer requirement to design projects and assist with creating and or refining control panel designs

Create detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.

Create BOMs, and other project documentation.

Modification of Power Supplies

Create fabrication drawings and detail drawings for miscellaneous components.

Work closely and coordinate with engineering staff and shop fabrication teams during the development and fabrication phases of a project.
