Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with manufacturer and internal deadlines

Oversee and execute payroll, daily accounting operations, and month-end close processes

Maintain compliance with manufacturer financial requirements (GM and Subaru)

Manage internal controls and support annual and surprise audits

Supervise accounting staff and ensure accuracy in schedules and reconciliations

Collaborate closely with department managers and report directly to the CFO

Provide financial guidance and support to ensure profitability and process improvement

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years in a high level accounting office manager or controller role in a retail automotive environment

Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite experience required

Manufacturer experience with General Motors a plus

In depth understanding of dealership accounting, including cost accounting, payroll, and cash flow management

Prior involvement with external audits and regulatory compliance

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Maintains a professional appearance and work ethic

Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professional conduct

Possesses a positive and high-energy demeanor

Comfortable learning new technology and computer skills

Consistent work history

Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug test)
