Currently our client Japanese Financial Institute is looking for an Accountant.

Position Accountant

Compensation $60K-$90K

Hiring Syle Direct hiring, Full-time

Job Duties:

Preparing accounting entries including accruals, data inputs and account posting.

Performing reconciliation and closing accounts.

Preparing financial statements.

Issuing Company checks and tracking outstanding checks.

Checking and maintaining bank records, and updating cash flow balance.

Preparing / assisting miscellaneous tax returns, including form 1042’s, form 1096 & 1099, census reports, annual reports, etc.

Preparing / assisting sales and property tax returns for various states and counties.

Handling lease and loan matters, including booking lease and loan contracts, tracking expiration of loan and lease contracts;

Qualifications:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms and instructions in English.

Ability to effectively respond to questions from Management, Staff, clients, and the general public in English.

Ability to use a computer and such applications as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be able to design custom reports as necessary.Company Description
