About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Controls Designer to join our growing automation and service team. In this role, you’ll design and generate wiring diagrams, program PLCs, support fabrication and field installs, and travel to customer sites for commissioning and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do:
Design control panels, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD
Program PLCs, HMIs/SCADA, and interface with control hardware
Support field installs, equipment startups, and system commissioning
Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems and industrial automation
Collaborate with engineering, technicians, and customers
Create detailed technical documentation and user manuals
Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30%)
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of controls design experience or 5–10 years hands-on in automation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
Strong understanding of 3-phase power, VFDs, and motor control
Familiarity with relay logic, analog/digital signals, and industrial protocols
Ability to read and create wiring schematics
Great communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel as required
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Bonus if You Have:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms and networked controls
Passport for occasional international support
