Position Summary:
The Foreman will play a pivotal role within the Operations team, responsible for overseeing the successful execution of network infrastructure and cabling projects at a designated site. This position requires a hands-on leader with the ability to manage day-to-day project activities, coordinate teams, and ensure high-quality service delivery in line with client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Report to the onsite Project Manager and align with project schedules and directives
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring milestone completion and productivity goals
Manage labor, coordinate with Field Engineers and trade contractors
Ensure adherence to safety standards and site conditions
Monitor and report project updates, quality, and material requirements
Oversee QA/QC reviews and ensure alignment with customer standards
Identify and support Lead development through training recommendations
Ensure compliance with customer processes and guidelines
Participate in design/build meetings and support both new and active site deployments
Assist teams with adopting new technologies and tools in collaboration with Project Management
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in cabling infrastructure, large-scale builds, and team leadership
Proven ability to lead multiple crews and manage mid-to-large scale projects
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
Capable of interpreting blueprints, drawings, and port maps
Experienced in copper/fiber installations, terminations, certifications, and troubleshooting
Relevant certifications (CFTT, CFI, BICSI, or FOA) preferred
Strong customer service mindset and understanding of local codes and standards
Ability to assess team strengths and contribute to growth and development
Physical Requirements:
Frequent walking, standing, bending; occasional sitting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pull cables
Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms
Dexterity to use tools and computer equipment
Effective verbal, written, and visual communication
