Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for adhering to prescribed standards of CNC operations, including set-ups, prototypes, and established processes.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2-5+ years experience in CNC Mill set-up and machining.

Responsibilities

Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts.

Conduct tool changes, run product, and make tool offsets.

Set up equipment to run production and prototype parts according to blueprints.

Develop new work instructions for prototype parts.

Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.

Program and edit CNC programs on the shop floor to maintain product quality.Essential Skills

Knowledge of various machine tool controls, including G-M Codes and Mazatrol.

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Ability to calculate product dimensioning using mathematical formulas.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with quality assurance and control.

Familiarity with calipers and Haas equipment.

Skill in using CAD software for prototype machining.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is located in a temperature-controlled machine shop, ensuring a comfortable work setting throughout your shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, Washington.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
