Job Description
Volt has partnered with a top manufacturing plant in Red Oak, TX to help identify multiple Electrician or Electrical Apprentice for immediate hire.
As an Electrician or Electrical Apprentice:
Install, repair and maintain electrical parts of industrial equipment
Follow safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes
Correctly interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments
Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections
Ensure all administrative processes, including torque sheets, 5S and tool inventory tracking
This position is temp for 2 months, with potential to go temp to hire. We have two shifts:
Mon/Tue/Wed - 6am - 6pm
Thur/Fri/Sat - 6am - 6pm
The ideal candidate will have:
Verifiable high school diploma or GED
Electrical assembly or electrician experience or certificate in an apprenticeship program or journeyman experience
Industrial electrical experience is ideal, commercial electrical experience accepted
Understanding of schematics and technical documents
Ability to bend conduit and installation of large cables
Ability to life 50 lbs
Pay Rate: $27/hr
** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
