Job Description
The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting daily inventory control activities with a strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and inventory integrity. This position involves performing inventory counts, documenting transactions, and facilitating material flow across the production floor. The specialist collaborates closely with the Warehousing, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure timely and precise inventory movement while adhering to established processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Support material flow across the production floor to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with Warehousing, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams.
Maintain clean and organized inventory storage areas, including production floor locations.
Follow established inventory procedures and uphold quality standards.
Assist with labeling, documentation, and basic data entry related to inventory.
Participate in process improvement activities under guidance.Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
Proficiency in cycle counts and inventory management.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Experience in material handling and document control.
Familiarity with quality assurance practices.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of inventory control experience.
Ability to operate a forklift to support inventory counts.
Plastics experience is a plus but not necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and controlled within a manufacturing setting. Employees will be required to lift boxes weighing between 1 and 35 pounds throughout the day and occasionally use an industrial ladder to store boxes in the warehouse.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
