Position Details:

Human Resources Generalist, Full-time, typically M-F 8:00-5:00, may occasionally need to work evening and weekend hours.

Hourly, Non-Exempt; Non-Union

Position Summary:

Serves as a specialized assistant and administrative support in the Human Resources Department. This includes, hiring, benefits, compensation processes. Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the HR Department. Participates in drafting policies and procedures related to personnel, the work environment, or facility requirements. Works as a team player with all departments, staff, and future employees, with positive representation of the HR Department.

Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

1-3 years of HR, Management or Administrative experience, preferred. Experience working for/with executive-level staff members preferred.

Job Knowledge:

Understanding and experience with human resources processes and procedures including interviewing, employee hiring, onboarding processes, Oregon labor laws, protected leave (FMLA, OFLA, PLO) administration, ADA, benefit & compensation administration, performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting and general office organization and filing.

Skills:

Computer literate & knowledge of variety of computer software programs; especially Microsoft Office Suite; with emphasis regarding Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, preferred. Ability to communicate well, efficiently preform duties with minimal supervision and within deadlines. Ability to work with integrity and conduct self in an honest, ethical and professional manner and maintain confidentiality. Ability to use independent judgement to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload and projects.
