Overview Are you a detail oriented, dedicated and organized individual that enjoys a fast-paced environment with an engaged sales team? River Run is seeking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Associate to join our growing team! The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for generating and facilitating new business for existing River Run clients, alongside a dynamic sales team who maintain the day-to-day relationship with our managed services clients. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere to provide excellent client service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day aspects of the sales process from client request to completed sale
Master the art of upselling: Introduce clients to additional services like cybersecurity enhancements or advanced endpoint management solutions, turning opportunities into wins.
Research, gather information and prepare client quotes for software license renewals, and miscellaneous proposals as requested
Handle procurement, receiving, and record keeping for software license renewals
Backup to hardware procurement, receiving, and record keeping for all River Run client purchases
Assist in the day-to-day aspects of the sales department including assistance in prep of proposals as needed
Oversee and audit sales external and internal requests through CRM quoting queue
Confirm client opportunity wins and work with operations to execute purchase orders and hand-offs to other departments
Ensure internal procedures are followed to maintain precision and quality standards
Assist with scheduling internal and/or external meetings
Assist Director of Sales with various projects and tasks that provide a well-rounded understanding of business operations
Relationship coordination with vendors and partners to ensure River Run is receiving best pricing and service available
Market Trend Spotter: Stay ahead of the game by keeping an eagle eye on industry trends, competitor moves, and client behavior to refine sales strategies.
Assist Director of Sales with various projects and tasks that provide a well-rounded understanding of business operations
Follow up on proposals and agreements, work with vCIOs, Inside Sales Representatives and Sales Engineer to close business
Conduct research and follow up on proposals and/or agreements with vendors and clients
Research on product/sales-related issues internally and with clients and vendors directly
Create, refresh and manage templated materials with input and direction from leaders and team members
Maintain CRM database including client details, status of quotes and tickets, etc.
Assist with public relation programs including tradeshows, seminars and networking events as needed as needed
Attend Client meetings as required
Skills and Experience
1 year sales experience
Pleasant phone voice and demeanor
Exceptional attention to detail needed with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Must be collaborative in nature and excel in a team-based environment
Ability to communicate with every level of client personnel, from entry-level employees to C-level Executives
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, CoPilot, ChatGPT or Gemini, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with Sales CRM software preferred

Education
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in the position requirements.
Transportation
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and valid insurance
Physical Demands The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Full-time
