IT Analysts (Data Platforms)

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering discipline, or a related field and 3 years of experience as a data analyst, report developer or data engineer building complex queries to pull structured and semi-structured data from a cloud-based data warehouse.

Employer will accept as the equivalent a Bachelor's degree in one of the requisite fields and 5 years of experience as a data analyst, report developer or data engineer building complex queries to pull structured and semi-structured data from a cloud-based data warehouse.

Experience must include: Writing complex SQL queries to pull data from structured and semi structured data assets across multiple database platforms including Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server; Building reports and datasets using Microsoft Power Platform including PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Cloud Services and PowerApps; Gaining understanding of the Insurance domain and how data is leveraged to achieve business outcomes including knowledge of calculating key business metrics across Policy, Claims, Service/Call Center and Marketing subdomain; Documenting report and data requirements, supporting validation and testing of end product and presenting results to stakeholders; and At least 2 years of experience working on at least one of the following industry standard data models: Snowflake, Star Schema, or IBM IIW models.
