Operator Plastics

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

We are currently seeking an Operator Plastics to join our team. The Operator Plastics is responsible for operating molding machines and handling material as well as ensuring the quality of our products.

Job Type: Full-time, 3rd shift 10:55 pm to 07:05 am

Work Location: In person (Gainesville, GA)

Responsabilities

• Operating molding machines

• Handling material

• Troubleshooting of machines

• Ensuring proper maintenance of machines

• Cleaning of equipment and tools

• Performing quality inspection

• Production reporting

• Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949

• Team Work – working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals

• Escalation of issues to engineers and manager

• Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI

• Ensuring First in – First out

• Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed

• Housekeeping – 5S-Standard

• Other duties assigned

Job Requirements

Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment 1-2 years preferred

Job requirements

• Good reading comprehension of work instructions

• Good ability to work in a team environment

• Detail oriented

• Basic mechanical background

• Basic troubleshooting skills

• Basic understanding of metric system

• Basic math skills

• Basic computer skills

• Good manual dexterity

• Attendance and punctuality

Physical requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Pushing and pulling up to 35 lbs. using material handling equipment

• Constant standing, walking, handling and using fingers

• Frequent bending and reaching outward

• Occasional reaching above shoulders, kneeling, squatting, climbing and crawling
