Job Description
Position Summary:
The Operations Specialists support the Operations Manager by executing daily post-harvest, packaging, inventory, delivery, and collections tasks. These team members are hands-on contributors who help ensure products are processed, packed, tracked, delivered, and documented accurately and efficiently. The role is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and vital to the success of the post-harvest and fulfillment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Harvest Support
Assist with trimming oversight, including preparing materials, weighing batches, tagging, and organizing product for packaging.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of post-harvest work areas in accordance with compliance and safety standards.
Support tracking of yields and waste data during trimming and packaging activities.
Packaging & Labeling
Execute packaging of flower and manufactured products per order specs and regulatory requirements.
Apply compliant labeling with correct batch, strain, testing, and tracking information.
Organize finished goods inventory by lot, batch, and readiness for sale.
Inventory Handling
Perform product intake and transfers in internal systems and METRC.
Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies under manager guidance.
Maintain real-time records of inventory movement from post-harvest to sales fulfillment.
Order Fulfillment
Prepare outbound orders based on manifests and sales schedules.
Confirm packaging, weight, labeling, and documentation are complete for each order.
Stage product for delivery and coordinate with drivers or transport team.
Delivery Execution & Support
Assist with vehicle loading, routing, and delivery prep.
Support delivery runs, including navigating, unloading, manifesting, and confirming receipt with customers (as required by state law).
Ensure product is handled securely and in compliance with transport regulations.
Operational Support
Assist with equipment maintenance checks (e.g., trimmers, scales, printers).
Prepare reports or summaries on tasks completed, inventory counts, or deliveries.
Help train new team members or temps as needed during peak periods.
Location: Fully onsite in Norman, Oklahoma
Compensation: $20/hour
