Job Description Description: Summary This position is responsible for completing the routine scheduled maintenance and quality control on all vehicles through the Quick Lube Department.
Employee fulfills primary responsibilities through attention to detail, hard work ethic and the ability to complete a variety of services.
Primary ResponsibilitiesFulfills maintenance needs on each vehicleAbility to complete top, middle and bottom level of services accurately and efficiently, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDrains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oilReplaces oil, air and cabin filters as requiredPerforms tire rotations to ensure even tire wearCompletes multi-point inspection Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.Checks tire pressure and adds air if neededLubricates moving parts with specified lubricantsInspects vehicle for possible leaksMakes recommendations for additional services based on MPICommunicates with team clearly and consistently Communicates with parts department to obtain needed partsDirectly reports to the Team Leader for performance check-in's, time off and questionsReports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisorTakes part in all required Toyota and MMT trainingUnderstands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.Keeps shop area neat and cleanMaintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were receivedOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.Displays the 4 Cs through daily interactions and work.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus but not required to start.Additional certifications related to automotive service may be beneficial.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and explain services performed.A customer-focused approach with the ability to provide excellent service.
Strong attention to detail to ensure all work is performed correctly and safely.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies in the automotive industry.
