Overview

The Head of Global Security will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all security policies, procedures, and programs across all properties and entities under Seminole Gaming, Hard Rock International, and Seminole Hard Rock Support Services. This role requires a strategic and proactive approach to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets in a dynamic and diverse global environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures for all global properties and entities.

Oversee the management and coordination of security operations, including access control, surveillance, and response protocols.

Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations related to security.

Establish and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, government officials, three-party vendors and other stakeholders to enhance security measures.

Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

Threat intelligence and analysis: Gathering, analyzing, and reporting on security threats to inform decision-making and build a proactive security strategy.

Developing crisis management and response plans: Establishing clear protocols, training teams, and ensuring preparedness for potential security incidents and natural disasters.

Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Develop and oversee emergency response plans for various scenarios, including suspicious devices, bomb threats, weapons, active shooter situations, natural disasters, terrorism, civil unrest, and other crises.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and response during emergencies.

Time zone coordination: Managing teams across multiple time zones and ensuring seamless communication and response during incidents.

Talent management: Building, leading, and developing a skilled global security team capable of effectively responding to a variety of crises.

Protecting executives and high-profile individuals from targeted attacks, harassment, and security vulnerabilities.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Developing and implementing comprehensive plans to ensure business operations can continue during and after a crisis, regardless of the nature of the disruption.

Implement and manage advanced security technologies and systems to enhance protection and monitoring capabilities.

Monitor and analyze security trends and threats to proactively address emerging issues and adapt strategies accordingly.

Prepare and present reports on security activities, incidents, and initiatives to senior management.

Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information and data.

Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience in a global organization, preferably within the hospitality or gaming industry.

Expert knowledge of security protocols, emergency response planning, and risk management.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in security technologies and systems.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Additional Information

The Head of Global Security will report directly to the President of Seminole Hard Rock Support Services and will collaborate closely with other senior executives, property leaders and departments to ensure the successful implementation and management of security initiatives across all properties.

The Head of Global Security Operations must be a strategic leader capable of navigating a complex and unpredictable global landscape, ensuring the safety of employees, guests and assets while maintaining operational resilience in the face of various crises.

The Head of Global Security position is an in-person position officed out of the Davie Florida Seminole Hard Rock Support Services building. Remote work or hybrid work will not be considered. The chosen candidate will be required to relocate to the South Florida area if they do not currently reside in this area.
