Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position offers a Contract-to-Permanent opportunity within a dynamic non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, supporting business systems, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support organizational goals and strategic planning.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective use of business systems, including CRM and Confluence.

• Develop and generate detailed financial reports using tools like Crystal Reports to aid in decision-making.

• Utilize data mining techniques to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for operational improvement.

• Oversee accounting functions and ensure compliance with auditing standards and practices.

• Manage budget processes, including forecasting and variance analysis, to optimize financial performance.

• Support capital management initiatives by assessing financial risks and opportunities.

• Act as a liaison between financial and operational teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

• Provide expert guidance on financial policies and procedures to maintain organizational integrity.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial systems to improve functionality and reporting.• Proven experience in financial analysis within a non-profit or similar industry.

• Proficiency in business systems such as CRM and Confluence.

• Strong skills in Crystal Reports and data mining techniques.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and budget processes.

• Expertise in capital management and financial risk assessment.

• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate financial insights effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
