We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position within the semi-conductors and electric components manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong procurement skills, vendor management expertise, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ensuring seamless purchasing operations and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase order creation and vendor management.

• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities in Excel for analysis and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.

• Utilize ERP systems, such as SAP, to streamline purchasing workflows.

• Resolve issues related to purchase orders and accounts payable.

• Monitor vendor performance and address discrepancies to maintain quality standards.

• Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.

• Support cross-functional teams with purchasing insights and recommendations.

• Continuously optimize procurement strategies to align with business objectives.• At least 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP.

• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and inventory.

• Solid understanding of purchasing processes and accounts payable.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
