Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and modern programming languages to deliver innovative solutions. Based in Santa Clara, California, this position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while contributing to leadership and hands-on coding efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

• Implement DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes and ensure system reliability.

• Develop and integrate secure authentication mechanisms into applications.

• Utilize Power BI and Microsoft Azure to enhance data visualization and cloud capabilities.

• Write and test efficient code, ensuring high performance and scalability of applications.

• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to less experienced team members.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Maintain and improve legacy systems, including VB applications.

• Explore and implement full-stack UX enhancements to optimize user experience.

• Conduct AB testing and refine business logic based on data-driven insights.• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on attention to detail.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, security protocols, and authentication methods.

• Expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Azure platforms.

• Proven ability to balance hands-on coding (approximately two-thirds) with leadership responsibilities.

• Familiarity with VB applications and legacy system maintenance.

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and API development.

• Nice-to-have skills include experience with Manix and full-stack UX development.
