The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in low-voltage systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling, and be able to coordinate all phases of infrastructure deployment—from design and procurement to installation and testing. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and implementation of structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, etc.) for data center environments.

Prepare project documentation, including scope of work, RFI/RFP responses, submittals, and as-built drawings.

Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure adherence to design, timeline, and quality standards.

Oversee and manage day-to-day field installation activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC).

Support material procurement and logistics coordination to ensure timely availability of supplies and equipment.

Perform or supervise site surveys, cable pathway planning, and equipment room layouts.

Conduct inspections and quality assurance of installed cabling infrastructure.

Maintain project tracking documentation, including status updates, change orders, and daily reports.

Support testing, certification, labeling, and documentation of all cabling systems.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on job sites.

RCDD, BICSI, or similar certifications a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar tools for drawing and documentation.

Experience with Fluke testing equipment and test result analysis.

Familiarity with data center layouts, cable tray systems, and patch panel/rack installation.
