Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our healthcare team at the practice of Robert L. Gattuso, M.D. Under the supervision of our physician, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, perform medical procedures, and develop patient management plans while fostering a patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to promoting overall wellness.

Practice: Robert L. Gattuso, M.D., a well-established and respected medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in Parkton, MD, and the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer injections, immunizations, and other medical procedures with precision and care.

Assess patient health through detailed interviews and physical examinations, accurately identifying medical conditions and concerns.

Provide counsel and effective medical treatment to patients, ensuring clear communication and patient understanding.

Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance, emphasizing preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices.

Develop and implement patient management plans tailored to individual patient needs, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.

Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment that promotes patient comfort and well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Current Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification and licensure in the state of Maryland.

Previous experience as a PA or NP in a related medical field.

Familiarity with a variety of medical tools, equipment, and technology.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.

Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to accurately assess patient conditions and make informed treatment decisions.
