Information Technology Systems Architect

Number of Positions: 2

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline from an accredited institution.

Certifications: Architecture certifications preferred (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect).

Experience and Skills:

· 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture and systems administration.

· Design and support of IRS PPM technical environments including development, testing, staging, and production.

· Expertise with PPM upgrades, patching, capacity management, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

· Integration of PPM with systems such as BEARS, IRWORKS, EDM, FMS, ServiceNow, and SAP BO.

· Implementation of secure configurations supporting NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and IRS-specific security controls.

· Experience with managing script repositories, including JavaScript, PL/SQL, PERL, JSP in IRS environments.

· Proven experience supporting ATO processes and working with IRS security and compliance offices.

· Support for Section 508 accessibility remediation and usability testing in enterprise reporting tools.

· Automation of workflows, capacity tracking reports, and technical coordination with data analytics teams.

· Active participation in PWS task areas including operations support, EDM, script repository, and capacity management.
